Join the Oldham County History Center for a “Hats-Off to History Tea Party” at 11AM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in the Rob Morris Chapel Education Building on the History Center campus. Special guest speaker will be Master Milliner Jenny Pfanenstiel, owner of Formé Millinery Co. and Judith M Millinery Supply House, featured milliner of the 149th Kentucky Derby. Tickets are $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members. The program will include hot tea and light refreshments. Following the presentation guests will take a short walk to Judith M Millinery Supply House on Historic Main Street in LaGrange for a tour of the shop. Living Treasures Reception
On Saturday, January 28, 2023 the Oldham County History Center will host a reception to celebrate everyone who has been recognized as a Living Treasure from 2020 through 2022. Light refreshments will be provided. Reception will be held in the Rob Morris Chapel Education Building. Reservations are required by calling 502.222.0826.
Hidden History Walking Tour
Led by Dr. Nancy Theiss, this tour is based on her new book “Hidden History of LaGrange Kentucky.” Tour lasts approx. 2 hours and includes a coffee or hot cocoa from LaGrange Coffee Roasters. Register by phone, 502.222.0826. Tickets are $5 for Members and $10 for Non-Members. Tour will begin outside the Oldham County History Center Museum. Book will be available to purchase following the tour.
