Join us for a walk through the Oldham County History Center campus where families will meet the Grinch and the Whos from Whoville, Elsa and Anna, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. Treats, crafts, and fun photo opportunities will be stationed throughout the campus. Admission for families will be a new, unwrapped toy or $3 per person. Bracelets will be provided at check-in to guests to show at stations. All toys donated will be delivered to HighPoint Charitable Services. Last year thanks to your generosity we were able to provide over 500 toys to children in our local community.

Join the Oldham County History Center as we explore the Smithsonian traveling exhibition, “Voices and Votes: Democracy in America.” Special activities will include storytime with special guest readers from the Oldham County Public Library, campaign button making, and campaign sign making with the Be Kind Sisters. Admission to the exhibition is free for all from 10am to noon, and guests are encouraged to cast their vote for Oldham County’s favorite ice cream flavor on a real voting machine on loan from the Oldham County Clerk’s Office!
“Voices and Votes” has been made possible at the Oldham County History Center by the Kentucky Humanities Council.
“Voices and Votes: Democracy in America” is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. It is based on an exhibition by the National Museum of American History. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.
