Clarence came out Thursday nite to see me. I got sick at the wrong time I finally got a week pass but can’t use it now. Ha! What’s cooking up La Grange way. I don’t guess anything new. I don’t know anything to write much. it is pouring down here. I [sic] glad I’m inside today. Tell Sis I’ll probably be home next week some nite. as soon as I got [sic] out of this darn hospital. Tell Dad not to work too hard. Tell aunt and uncle Hello.
