Hi Kid,
Just a few lines tonight to say hello and give a report on myself. I’m still somewhere in Northern Ireland and am having a swell time so far. I’d rather be in the good old States anytime though if I had my pick of the two.
I hear that you are going back to college again this summer. Do you plan to teach again this coming year or have you other plans.
I received a letter from mother today mailed Apr. 5th. I have received the money order my watch and pen. I wrote about it before but don’t know whether you received them or not. (the letters)
I also recd. a letter from Aunt Virginia today. I must write her tonight before I go to sleep.
I haven’t heard from Lee since I’ve been here. I’m getting real worried about her. Has she written mother lately.
I have all Sunday morning off tomorrow. I think I’ll sleep late & then go to church about eleven.
Did you get those pictures yet?
Oh yes – Be sure & tell me which gets home the fastest a V mail or air mail letter. Write me one of each the same day & see which one I get first.
How’s dear old La Grange? I bet it hasn’t changed a bit. Are mom & pop doing allright.
Well I’m sleepy so I’ll sign off. Be good & write soon.
Love
Toots
P.S. How’s the sailor
